Berlingskes food and wine critic, Søren Frank, recently paid a visit to Coco Bar à Vin, our new wine bar at Coco Hotel. He gave the wine bar four out of six stars and had some really nice things to say about the food and wine:
(the following quotes have been translated from Danish):
"However, the cold cuts (200 DKK) were absolutely world class.
On one hand, the coppa - salted, dried pork neck - full of character, from the organic Troldgaarden in Vedslet, which was silky smooth in texture and almost floral in flavour.
Secondly, lomo gallego - air-dried prime rib from Galician dairy cows - which was simply out of this world. The thin slices of air-dried entrecote with a thick rim of fat had so much depth and umami in the flavour and such a superior texture that I don't recall having ever tasted anything alike."
"We can conclude that Coco Bar à Vin, with one of the city's best curated glass and bottle cards, complemented in my opinion by a top shelf bar food, is potentially one of the best wine bars in the city."
If you would like to try Coco Bar à Vin too, you can drop by every Tuesday-Saturday from 4pm. On Fridays our favourite local DJs spin records from 6-10pm.
