At Coco Hotel, we want to contribute to a positive change in the world, and so we are happy to announce our recently entered partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects. At more than 45 different project sites in Kenya, we support the produce, planting, growing and protection of trees, for the benefit of the climate, the environment and the local communities.
For each night booked directly through our website, we donate one tree through Eden Reforestation Projects. This means that by choosing to book directly with us, you can CO2 compensate your stay, while supporting local communities around Kenya and creating a positive impact on the wildlife and ecosystem in the project areas.
To this date, Eden Reforestation Projects has planted and protected over 50 million trees in Kenya and employs more than 1050 people with fair wages at the project sites. To learn more about their work, please go explore their website.
Within our first year of partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects, we expect to donate a minimum of 33.000 trees.
